Dj Galloway

Cassidy Fulmer

DJ Galloway started her professional dance training at New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA) during high school. After high school she was accepted into Alvin Ailey's Independent Studies Training Program in New York City, where she trained for one year, receiving her independent dance studies certificate. During her time in the Ailey School, she was selected to do a performance under the direction of Matthew Rushing, Ailey II Artistic Director, alongside the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater first company. After her training at Ailey, she was accepted into Arova Contemporary Ballet, in Birmingham, Alabama as a company apprentice. During her year as an apprentice she was selected as a soloist for TedX Birmingham, a national event, alongside the band "Warjacket" under the direction of Jamorris Rivers, Arova's artistic director. The next season she was promoted to company member.  DJ was also selected to choreograph on the Arova Contemporary Ballet Company, for their choreographers showcase, after submitting her work. Other performance experience for DJ includes performing as a back-up dancer for upcoming artist, Chelsea Chavis, at South by Southwest Music Festival, and appearing in St.Paul and the Broken Bones music video "All I Ever Wonder." Dj has choreographed on and trained dancers of all ages, all around Louisiana. 

Currently, Dj looks forward to the training and success of her students at The Merge.

Cassidy Fulmer



Cassidy Fulmer received her BFA degree from Marymount Manhattan College and was awarded a gold key for her excellence in the ballet concentration. There she studied under world-renowned choreographers, including Alexandra Damiani, Michael Waldrop, Jenn Freeman, and Kyle Abraham. Currently based in New Orleans, Louisiana, Cassidy is involved in their concert dance scene. She is also a guest artist of the LED Dance Company in Boise, Idaho, as well as Company E located in Washington DC. Other performance projects include The Contemporary Arts Center of New Orleans, The Marigny Opera Ballet, Dior’s Spring Collection Launch, and more.  

Sandie Lynn

Sandie Lynn has over 20 years of dance experience. She has performed in the entertainment industry at worldwide cooperate events working with top of the line artists and performers.

Sandie Lynn also has been a certified personal trainer for over 7 years and works with clients all over the world. She loves to impact each dancer to live a healthy lifestyle in their everyday activities mentally and physically.

She has trained many artist such as singers, musies producers, actors, NFL players & dancers, and collegiate dance teams. This year Sandie Lynn has taken the opportunity to travel and train dancers all over the world.

Sandie Lynn also owns her own dance company where she focuses on giving back to non-profit organizations.

Sandie is a proud mom and wife, and she looks forward to teaching and instilling in dancers a passion for fitness training.

Sydney Buras

Sydney Buras is a New Orleans native located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Southeast Louisiana. She recently graduated from Point Park University in April 2025 where she received her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts in modern dance. Sydney also received her Yoga Certification in 2024. Growing up, Sydney was formally trained at New Orleans Ballet Association (NOBA), and also attended high school at New Orleans Center of Creative Arts (NOCCA). She has training in modern, ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, and African dance as well as voice and acting work in musical theater. Sydney hopes to inspire new generations of artists to be bold and innovative, while cultivating a world where every artist can find their own voice. 

Kurk Nance

Kurk Nance

Kurk Nance was born in Detroit, Michigan where he began learning the Detroit-based footwork style "Jit" at the age of 5. During high school, after moving from Michigan to Mobile, Alabama, he joined the dance crew "KRL", where he learned to choreograph, perform, and make dance videos. He earned a scholarship to the university of Southern Mississippi, majoring in pertormance and choreography.

Nance was a Repertory Dance Company member at the University of Southern Mississippi. And was one of the creators of

"High D.E.F."; a hip hop based dance group who performed their own concerts, pep rallies, and various shows around campus.

Nance graduated from USM in May 2015 and was a performer at Hibbett Sports' new line reveal for Nike in 2014 & 2015. Since then he has been an assistant at dance competitions while also teaching and performing sporadically.
